महाराष्ट्र के अमरावती में जिला महिला अस्पताल के नवजात शिशु गहन चिकित्सा कक्ष यानी NICU में भीषण आग लगने से तीन नवजातों की मौत हो गई... घटना सोमवार तड़के करीब 3:30 बजे की बताई जा रही है। शुरुआती जानकारी के मुताबिक वेंटिलेटर में धमाके के बाद आग लगी... उस समय वार्ड में 39 नवजात मौजूद थे। आग लगते ही डॉक्टरों... नर्सों और अस्पताल कर्मचारियों ने तुरंत बच्चों को बाहर निकालना शुरू किया। छह नवजातों को इलाज के लिए नजदीकी सुपर स्पेशियलिटी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। घटना के बाद अस्पताल में हड़कंप मच गया... वहीं आग लगने के कारणों और सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को लेकर जांच की जा रही है।
A tragic fire broke out in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Amravati District Women’s Hospital in Maharashtra early Monday morning, resulting in the deaths of three newborn babies. The incident reportedly occurred around 3:30 AM after a ventilator malfunctioned and an explosion triggered the fire. At the time, 39 newborns were reportedly present in the ward. Doctors, nurses and hospital staff immediately rushed to evacuate the babies from the affected area. Six critically affected newborns were shifted to a nearby super-speciality hospital for further treatment. Authorities are assessing the circumstances surrounding the fire, while questions are also being raised about hospital fire safety and emergency preparedness.
